This is the tenth annual report summarizing the results of the FDA pesticide residue monitoring program. This current report includes findings obtained during FY 1996 (October 1, 1995 through September 30, 1996) under regulatory andincidence/level monitoring. Selected Total Diet Study findings for 1996 are also presented. Results in this and earlier reports continue to demonstrate that levels of pesticide residues in the U.S. food supply are well below established safety standards. It presents references, figures, and tables.
