Citations from the scientific literature on the environmental behavior and occurrence of synthetic pyrethroid insecticides were obtained from three computerized bibliographic data bases: Chemical Abstracts, Selected Water Resources Abstracts, and Agricola. Nearly 4,000 citations are categorized here by environmental process, occurrence, analysis, toxicity, or physical/chemical property. Each citation is composed of (1) bibliographic reference, (2) the language of the article, (3) keywords assigned to the citation in this bibliography, and (4) the database reference number.
