The WMDA promotes the exchange of information and development of standards in order to facilitate the exchange of hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) across international borders. The WMDA Board membership represents both donor registry/donor centre interests and transplant centre interests. The Working Groups are responsible for developing recommendations for guidelines and standards in specific designated areas.
